I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and 4 beautiful children. I am a SAHM and love to be able to help out in the kids classes whenever needed. I will again be a DI Team Manager for 2 teams this year...1 Elementary Level Team and 1 Middle School Level Team. I am also the DI Site Coordinator for my kids Elementary School.
It's the end of the month, and you know what that means.....previews for the new stamps! Today is the third and final day of previews, Today I am showcasing the new Royal Cuties stamp set.
For my first card I colored the image with copics, added some polka dots to the bottom of her dress with a white gel pen, and stickles on her bows and the heart on her crown. I added some grosgrain ribbon, a button/twine embellishment and some flowers. Most of the patterned paper is from Echo Park's Beautiful Life collection.
For my second card I colored the image with copics and added some pearls to the top of her crown. I kept the layout really simple on this one just adding a few more pearls and some scalloped ribbon.
Stop on over at The Greeting Farm to see some more gorgeous cards using this adorable stamp set and to find out how you can one of your own!
It's Tuesday so that means time for another Garden Variety Tuesday over at The Greeting Farm. This week Maria challenged us to use 3 or more layers:
For my card I used the new Layer Cake Clear Stamp set. I stamped the cake pieces in embossing ink and heat embossed it with detail white embossing powder. After that, I used an embossing pen to color in the hearts and the swirls on the cake and then heat embossed that with a glitter embossing powder. The platter was stamped with gray ink and then I added pearls to it. To add texture to the different layers, I used the Swiss Dots and the Modern Wallpaper Cuttlebug folders along with a heart border punch. To finish it off, I added a few more pearls and a satin/organdy ribbon and bow. Head on over the The Greeting Farm blog to see some more amazing work from the Design Team! Thanks for stopping and have a great day! :)
I simply have way TOO many items in my craft room that are not being used so I am having a Craft Sale. I have a LOT more to add as time allows, so keep checking back. You can find the items under the "Items for Sale Tab" above or by clicking here. Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
Happy Friday! Today it's time for another Farm Fresh Friday over at The Greeting Farm. This week the challenge is "Anything Goes".
For my card I used Birthday Anya 3 and colored her with copics and added some stickles to the heart in her hair and the candies on top the cake. In case you didn't know,, The Greeting Farm now carries some 6x6 paper pads and I used papers from Echo Park - So Happy Together. To add a decorative edge to the mats I used the Tulip Border Die. To finish it off I added some rhinestones, bakers twine, and a flower/button/bow combo. The sentiment is from the retired Chef Ian set. Stop by the TGF blog to see some more creations from the Design team and to enter your own project. Thanks for stopping and have a great weekend! :) i
Happy Wednesday! Today it's time for a Retro Fresh challenge at The Greeting Farmand this month the challenge is "Birthday Hoopla"...very appropriate since this is TGF's birthday month.
I wasn't sure which image to use, so I pulled out one I haven't used in a LONG time ~ Sassy Susie. She is colored with copics and I paper pieced the balloons. I added some polka dotted ribbon and a few rhinestones. Head on over to the TGF blog to see the rest of the Team's creations and to enter your creation for the challenge. Happy Friday! Today it's time for another Farm Fresh Friday over at The Greeting Farm. Today I got to pick the challenge and chose to "Mix it Up". All you need to do is use parts from two different TGF images and combine them to make one. This is a fun way to customize your images even more.
I decided to use the head from CC Monday along with the body from CC James and colored both with copics. I couldn't find any true red and black paper in my stash so I took some paper that was black with cream flocking and colored the cream color with a red copic. I added some riveted leather trim, a flower/button/bow combo and some silver "pearls". The sentiment was stamped with metallic ink.
Be sure to visit The Greeting Farm blog to see the rest of the Design Teams fantastic cards and to enter your own Mix it Up creation.
Today's release is definitely a milestone for The Greeting Farm as it marks our FIFTH birthday! Happy birthday to us!
As you've seen from this month's previews, we are going all-out to celebrate with three BIRTHDAY-themed releases and they're all available NOW in the TGF STORE! Whether you want to GO BIG with the new Frou Frou line, classic with Birthday Anya 3, or get 'clearly' creative with the new Birthday cake stackers, there's a little something for everyone this release as we prepare to PARTY!
There will be a few birthday surprises on the Farm this month, so stay tuned, but in order to kick start today's party and this month's fab release, we're celebrating with our DT BLOG hop as usual!
Today I made a wall hanging using the new Birthday Anya 3 stamp and I just had to bring out Birthday Ian to help celebrate as well. I colored both images with copics and also paper pieced various parts of them. I painted the wooden plaque with acrylic paint and then added some paper to it. The happy banner was made from the clear Bantastic set and some bakers twine. The letters and number are rub-ons. I colored the wood beads on the twine with copics to match the papers and added a few buttons to finish it off.
There's a LOT to celebrate today, so because we are so excited, we have FIVE prizes for our FIVE years!
THREE random digis of choice will be given away for completing the hop today, as well as TWO grand prizes of the ENTIRE AUGUST RELEASE!
Just be sure to head down this list, and then back to the TGF BLOG letting us know you've finished the hop. You have until 11:45pm CST to finish hopping and we'll announce the winners during FFF tomorrow! WOO HOO!
Thank you so much for celebrating TGF's big day with us! As always, it's because of you that TGF is turning 5 with style and success. Here's to the next 5! Thank you, all!
