Crafty Monkey's Kids Challenge

My son, Tyler (8), wanted to participate in the Crafty Monkey's challenge, but since he doesn't have a blog, I am posting for him. The challenge this time was to create a Girly card, so he made a card for his sister. He picked my new Rockstar Anya stamp to use (I haven't even used her yet) and colored her in with Bic Mark Its and Prismacolor Markers. The flower is made from a pink prima, a black and white flower and black leaves (the later two of which were from a flower bunch I recently took apart and threw in my flower stash) with a rhinestone brad in the center. He put stickles on the headband and dress and added dew drops in the 3 corners to finish off the image. He wanted to use this great polka dot ribbon he and his sister found in my long neglected ribbon drawer so he decided to add it down the side. He also wanted to add a "You Rock" sentiment, but wasn't happy with me when I told him I didn't have a stamp that said that. Coincidently, he and his sister used the same colors and ribbon for this challenge. I think his card turned out great!
